It’s an ambitious project with multiple plots and conflicts, and with a complex Anglo Irish family at the heart of it. Those of you who have read my other novels will know that I don’t sugar coat uncomfortable topics. In fact my reputation as being a dark, gritty author seems to be growing. Is that a bad thing? I don’t know, but just in case it is, here’s a warning. If you are someone who enjoys a bit of light reading with a flowery romance, and characters who don’t have flaws, you may be disappointed in this new offering.
So far I’ve written about The Spanish Civil War, The American Civil War, The Spanish Inquisition, and now, the mother of all conflicts, The Great War, 1914-18. I hope you enjoy the ride – More updates to come xxx
