The New Mercy Carver book

Blood Moon3D1

The unthinkable has happened. America is embroiled in a Civil War and Virginia has been invaded by a Union army. Mercy Carver ignores the dangers that surround her and treads a precarious road, using only her youthful passion and guile to guide her, and the runaway slaves she continues to aid.

Her love for Jacob Stone a slave owner, has grown, but even he does not have the power to stop her from fighting this war, her way.

Jacob, now an officer in the Confederate Cavalry, fights his demons and his growing mistrust of the woman he loves, whilst his old friend, Isaac Bernstein, a surgeon in the Union Army, refuses to give up on his pursuit of Mercy’s affections.

Where will Mercy meet her destiny? Will it be in the Confederate camp or will her journey lead her to the Union cause.

The Guardian of Secrets

Guardian 3DA historical family saga spanning four generations, from 1912, Kent, England, to Spain and its 1936–39 civil war. Celia and Ernesto’s two sons march under opposing banners, whilst their daughters take different paths, one to the Catholic Church and the other to the battlefields.

In exile, Celia and Ernesto can only wait and pray for their children and their safe return home, ignorant of the re-emergence of an old foe, more dangerous than the bloody war that has engulfed their children.

How would describe “The Guardian of Secrets?” The Guardian of Secrets is a dark, fast paced saga and adventure. I believe that any reader who has read The Guardian of Secrets can expect the same style of storytelling from me but with a completely different subject, of course. Read More

I was, at that time, in the British Royal Navy and my parents, sister, and brother lived in Dénia, Alicante.  I had not seen them for over a year. I missed them and thought it was high time I paid Spain, and the family, a surprise visit. Read More
