All I can say is: “And about time!” Petken has me craven for the next book ever since I read her first novel. Het historical fiction novels cover an ever growing historical periods and events. Whatever she decides to write about is very well researched and wrapped up in a compelling story. Her style of writing is captivating and I have found it next to impossible to put her books down before I had well and truly finished them.
